Unlike cheap PVC pockets available at ordinary stationers our A4 Document Pockets are perfectly safe for archiving your family history documents and printouts. This pocket is a slightly thinner version of our ultra-clear polypropylene (acid-free) pocket. Both pockets are archive safe and the only real difference is the material thickness.
These document pockets really are a safe alternative to the PVC pockets that may harm your papers even in the short term. See below.
Please use code DOC218 at the cart to receive your 50% discount. Only £6.92 for a pack of 100 pockets.
The image below shows what often happens to prints stored in PVC pockets. The print sticks to the PVC and is pulled off the paper if it is removed fronm the pocket. This does not happen with our polypropylene pockets. The document shown is dated 2008 and was only in contact with the PVC pocket for about seven years.
The result of using PVC.
